These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GOSA Global. By creating an account, browsing the platform, submitting content, or attending GOSA-organised events, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

This platform is intended exclusively for alumni of Ghana Senior High School (GHANASS). “Alumni” means any person who has attended GHANASS as a student at any point, regardless of whether they completed their studies.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements. GOSA Global reserves the right to verify alumni status and to remove accounts that do not meet eligibility criteria.

• You are responsible for providing accurate information during registration and keeping your profile up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. Do not share your credentials with others.
• You must notify us immediately at info@gosa.org if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts is not permitted.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree to use this platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with its community spirit. You must not:

• Post content that is false, defamatory, abusive, threatening, obscene, or discriminatory.
• Impersonate another person, alumnus, or GOSA official.
• Use the platform for commercial solicitation, spam, or unsolicited advertising without prior written approval from GOSA.
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the platform.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, its servers, or associated databases.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any software designed to disrupt the platform.
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

Violation of acceptable use standards may result in immediate account suspension and, where warranted, referral to relevant authorities.

GOSA Global allows members to submit content including profile information, stories, photos, event details, and announcements (“User Content”).

• You own your content. You retain all intellectual property rights in User Content you submit.
• You grant GOSA a licence. By submitting content, you grant GOSA Global a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on this platform and in GOSA communications (e.g., newsletters, social media) for the purpose of operating and promoting the association.
• You are responsible for your content. You confirm that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or that we consider harmful to the community, without prior notice.

The GOSA Global name, the GHANASS crest, logos, design elements, and any original content produced by GOSA Global are the intellectual property of the Ghanass Old Students Association and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

The underlying platform code, UI components, and architecture are proprietary. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right or licence to copy, modify, or distribute them.

Your profile information (name, year group, and any details you choose to add) may be visible to other logged-in members in the alumni directory. You control what you share via your profile settings.

Member contact information obtained through this platform must not be used for unsolicited commercial communications or any purpose unrelated to GOSA community activities.

The platform may contain links to external websites or services. GOSA Global is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those external sites. Links are provided for convenience only and do not constitute endorsement.

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” GOSA Global makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of the platform. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

Information published on the platform — including event details, member profiles, and announcements — is provided for community purposes and may not always be current or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GOSA Global, its officers, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or your inability to use it, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the platform shall not exceed the amount, if any, you paid to GOSA Global in the twelve months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at info@gosa.org. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account, at our sole discretion, for violations of these Terms or conduct that we deem detrimental to the GOSA community.
